MAX “MAXA!”

MAX planned to update the offer section in their app and give that section it’s own category in the menu. In order to make this update interesting for customers and make it stand out in the current app menu, they planned for a new name and a new visual expression.

If this update could be made into something slightly more interesting than just an icon, we saw an opportunity to build stronger connections with customers and possibly drive a new app habit: to always check for current deals. We want people to start a new habit, so let’s introduce a new word - a verb to describe that habit. Let’s MAXA! (And what better month to launch than January, the poorest month of the year).
